Now you can share The Heart Truth with women in your community using the Community Action Kit.

Community outreach is one of the most powerful and effective ways we can share the heart truth with women across Canada. You can share the truth with the women you know through your community centre, business association, place of worship, book club or though any other network of women.

By making a presentation on the topic of women's risks of heart disease and stroke, you are putting a human face on an intimidating topic and motivating women to learn how to lower their risk of heart disease and stroke and how to recognize and act on the warning signs.

The Heart Truth Community Action Kit gives you everything you need to organize and lead a lively, informative multimedia presentation. The kit includes a presenter's guide, DVD documentary, PowerPoint presentation, speaking notes, and handouts for your audience.

You don't need to be a health professional to give a presentation. As a Heart Truth Champion, your role is simply to raise awareness and start a conversation in your community about women's heart health.
